This role is essential in maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency in decontamination processes within a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities of the Decontamination Specialist:
- Ensure all decontamination procedures meet the required standards and regulations.
- Operate and maintain decontamination equipment.
- Monitor supplies and prepare orders as necessary to maintain inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of decontamination processes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with all health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Decontamination Specialist:
- Proven experience as a Decontamination Specialist or similar role in a healthcare environment.
- Strong understanding of decontamination protocols and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to drive due to the location.
