Our client has a temporary, full-time vacancy for a Maintenance & Project Carpenter. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, working 37 hours per week. You must have a full manual driving license for this role and be qualified. The role is temporary ongoing.

The role

Working as part of a team, the main duties are carrying out associated carpentry duties in an office environment. The role will include some multi skilled work and on occasions you will be required to carry out more general building works such as clearing areas and provide support for other trades within the Maintenance Section and appointed Contractors.

I n addition, you will be part of a project Team who are involved in the construction of bespoke carpentry work on a research project. The role requires problem solving and creative carpentry skills.

You will need to be a real team player, have good customer service skills and good communication skills. It is essential you have previous relevant experience to be considered, and be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
