Due to expansion our International eCommerce client now require a Senior Warehouse Supervisor ideally with a background in cross border eCommerce to join their team in Heathrow working a late shift 1.30pm to 10pm

The role:

Salary - Circa 45k DOE

Working with the Operations Manager, Senior Logistics Manager and teams across the business, this role will involve being a key member of the operation using our clients systems to give their customers the best possible experience shipping with them.

What you'll do:
- Support the operations manager in achieving optimum individual & team performance through effective & consistent application of approved processes, methods & practices (best practice methods, contingency arrangements etc.)
- Ensure optimum application of standard processes by working alongside the team to observe compliance with best practices.
- Work with staff at all levels on business improvement initiatives related to the individual employee, team or operation.
- Update the operations manager with progress made and any issues encountered.
- Ensure that warehouse staff of circa 20 comply with company rules at all times.
- Become the expert on the floor of all company systems, internal and 3rd party, managing training and refreshing to warehouse staff.
- Ensure staff complete required check sheets on a daily/weekly basis and file them accordingly.
- Support the growth & retention of business by ensuring all warehouse functions perform as required.
- Complete all required daily reports and follow up where needed.
- Manage all exception parcels and ensure they are updated in a timely manner to the relevant departments. This will also include processing the exception parcels once the parcel can be shipped.

- Ability to work in the fast paced cross border logistics space, with a keen eye for attention to detail.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication. The ability to communicate at all levels of the business, to all stake holders internally.
- Counter balance fork lift licence desirable.
