CMA is pleased to be exclusively assisting a prosperous organisation to recruit for an interim Management Accountant to cover for 3 months over a busy period.Key responsibilities will include

Collaborating closely with department heads to provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements and ensuring smooth, timely month-close process.

What will the interim Management Accountant role involve?

Full reconciliations of balance sheet and GL accounts including fixed asset register, cap table, inventory on a monthly basis.
Maximise use of the ERP & CRM systems – SAGE 200c, working with external and internal stakeholders in process improvement under supervision of the Finance Manager.
Assist in the preparation of period management accounts, financial statements, and reports.
Oversee supplier statement reconciliations, acting quickly to remedy any discrepancies.

Suitable Candidate for the interim Management Accountant vacancy:

Qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or qualified by experience.
Previous experience of SAGE 200 (and preferably Power BI).
Experience working in a manufacturing / engineering / construction environment.
