Join Our Team as a School Administrator!

Our client, a dedicated charitable trust, provides exceptional support to students aged 5-19 with complex learning disabilities and severe social communication and behavioural challenges. We are currently seeking a School Administrator to join our vibrant team in Cranleigh, Waverley.
What We Offer:
- Contract Type: Temp to Perm
- Hourly Rate: 12.32 - 12.72
- Working Pattern: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid break)
- Ideal Start Date: Tuesday, 28 April, to ensure a smooth handover with the current Admissions Administrator.
Your Role:
As a vital member of our Business and Administration Team, you will provide high-quality administrative support for our Admissions function. Your key responsibilities will include:
Admissions Coordination:
- Taking instructions from the Admissions Panel.
- Responding to inquiries about applications to our school and children's home.
- Collecting and filing documentation for potential students.
- Requesting and managing assessment reports and conditional offer letters.
- Organising visits and assessment sessions for prospective students and families.
Communication & Documentation
- Liaising with parents, local authorities, and legal representatives to pass on relevant information.
- Ensuring accurate input and maintenance of student details using SIMS.
- Attending Admissions Panel meetings and supporting the ongoing development of our Admissions Procedures.
What You Bring:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent literacy and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
- Previous office or administration experience, with familiarity in email correspondence and appointment scheduling.
- Experience with SIMS is a plus, or a willingness to learn quickly.
