Join our dedicated team at this fantastic School as an assistant Site Manager, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency of our school premises. This position requires a proactive individual with a full driving licence and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Day-to-day of the role:- Ensure the tidiness of the buildings and grounds, including rubbish removal and litter picking.
- Maintain the upkeep of the playing fields, playgrounds, car parks, and artificial pitches.
- Oversee the maintenance of school buildings.
- Conduct and record weekly and monthly compliance checks.
- Act as a key holder, managing the unlocking and locking of premises as required.
- Maintain boundaries, footpaths, roads, and rights of way.
- Use the online helpdesk system to record and respond to job requests.
- Undertake general portage duties, including setting out and putting away furniture as necessary.
- Drive the school minibus.
- Prioritise maintenance tasks that relate directly to the health and safety of the school.
- Engage in self-development and training relevant to the role.
- Undertake emergency and first-line maintenance repairs.
- Perform decorating and other in-house projects as needed.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Must hold a full driving licence.
- Excellent customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and respond to unplanned situations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly to support others.
