Our client is a leading Automotive manufacturer they are looking for a customer service assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries. As a Customer Service administrator, you will enhance the service standard. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a customer service administrator. You'll prioritise and process customer orders while ensuring the successful delivery of sales orders across the UK, Europe, and beyond, helping us maintain our high standards and strong client partnerships.

Customer Service Assistant responsibilities:

  • Prioritise and manage customer orders and enquiries efficiently.
  • Confidently utilise CRM/ERP systems and technology to provide excellent customer care.
  • Coordinate with warehousing and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.
  • Investigate and promptly resolve customer complaints, including issues with delayed, incorrect, or faulty orders.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer service records.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to contribute to positive sales outcomes.
  • Assist customers with online registration and order processing when necessary.
  • Check product availability for orders and liaise with the Logistics Team to replenish stock.
  • Support the finance department with customer security checks, account enquiries, or flagged issues.
  • Strive to ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional support.

Skills & experience required:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer support, ideally within an export-focused environment.
  • Familiarity with export documentation and regulations.
  • Minimum qualification of A-Levels.
  • Strong numeracy abilities.
  • Proficient IT skills with an eagerness to learn new software.
  • Competence in general office software, as well as ERP and CRM systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational abilities.
  • Polite phone manner and well-spoken.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Outstanding customer service capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to various personality types.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of an additional language besides English is advantageous.
