Eventus Legal is seeking a Solicitor / Legal Executive to join a reputable law firm’s Private Client team. The firm is situated in the Cranleigh area and offers free onsite parking. This is a permanent, full-time role with a highly regarded law firm who have a fantastic reputation for providing tailored legal advice with a focus on client care. Role Responsibilities
The incoming Solicitor / Legal Executive will join a leading law firm who specialise in providing expert advice and assistance to their clients. With a commitment to excellence and a client-centric approach, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality service to the Private Client team.
The day-to-day jobs duties within this role will include:
- Assisting clients with all Private Client matters including preparation of Wills and Trusts, Powers of Attorney, probate, estate administration, and inheritance tax
- Providing thorough legal advice and prioritising client care at all times
- Independently managing a busy caseload, ensuring files are managed in an efficient and timely manner
- Taking new instructions and managing conduct of client matters through to completion
- Maintaining relevant, robust professional knowledge
Person Specification
The incoming Solicitor / Legal Executive will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role within Private Client, preferably within a reputable law firm or legal department. You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Qualified Solicitor / Legal Executive with previous experience in Private Client matters
- Technical competence in Private Client matters with minimal need for supervision
- Knowledgeable in key areas of Private Client law, including Wills, Trust & Probate, and estate administration, Powers of Attorney, and inheritance tax
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication
- Outstanding organisation and time management skills
- Able to independently manage a busy caseload and work effectively under pressure
