Key Responsibilities for the new Chemistry Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons tailored to the diverse needs and abilities of students aged 11-16.
  • Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and academic achievement.
  • Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.

Requirements for the role of Chemistry Teacher

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities to achieve academic success.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and promotes respect for all individuals.
