I am currently recruiting for my client who are looking for their new Accountant role in Crawley.
Description
- Preparation of income and expenditure reports and monitor spend against budget
- Analyse financial information to drive understanding and action.
- Provide clear financial information, advice, KPIs, and analysis.
- Liaise regularly with Budget Holders of all levels ensuring provided information is in an accessible format
- Offer vital input into the budget setting process across the organisation and accurately reforecast on a monthly basis
- Build and maintain significant relationships with stakeholders (internal and external) and ensure efficient communication between relevant parties.
- Make process and system improvements where necessary by influencing the financial architecture of the organisation to keep up with the organisation's growth.
- Manage and develop the Purchase Ledger and Finance Assistant roles.
- Support with the payroll functionality of the organisation.
- Improve policies and systems to better meet the organisational objectives.
- Lead, deliver, and develop projects inclusively.
Profile
- May have experience of working in a multi-departmental/group organisation.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and ability to use Finance systems/databases to input and extract data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- May have previous experience working as a Finance Manager/Management Accountant/Accountant.
- May be working towards an accountancy qualification.
Job Offer
Salary: 34,000 - 37,000
