Description

  • Preparation of income and expenditure reports and monitor spend against budget
  • Analyse financial information to drive understanding and action.
  • Provide clear financial information, advice, KPIs, and analysis.
  • Liaise regularly with Budget Holders of all levels ensuring provided information is in an accessible format
  • Offer vital input into the budget setting process across the organisation and accurately reforecast on a monthly basis
  • Build and maintain significant relationships with stakeholders (internal and external) and ensure efficient communication between relevant parties.
  • Make process and system improvements where necessary by influencing the financial architecture of the organisation to keep up with the organisation's growth.
  • Manage and develop the Purchase Ledger and Finance Assistant roles.
  • Support with the payroll functionality of the organisation.
  • Improve policies and systems to better meet the organisational objectives.
  • Lead, deliver, and develop projects inclusively.

Profile

  • May have experience of working in a multi-departmental/group organisation.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and ability to use Finance systems/databases to input and extract data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • May have previous experience working as a Finance Manager/Management Accountant/Accountant.
  • May be working towards an accountancy qualification.
