We are looking for an Auditor or Ex Auditor with Financial Reporting experience in industry, to join a Technology specialist in the Defence and Aerospace sector as a Financial Reporting Accountant. Paying £80-90k, this position is split between Crawley and Central London (2 days in Crawley, 1 day in Central London and 2 days from home).
The Role
- You will support the Finance Director in ensuring robust financial control within the Company, ensuring compliance with Group and statutory reporting requirements.
- Prepare financial accounts for UK entities, in accordance with FRS 101, ensuring timely completion and full ownership of the supporting notes to financial statements.
- Oversee the audit process, ensuring adherence to timelines and effectively managing auditor requests for timely execution of their work.
- Assist with the delivery of the budget, liaising with unit financial controllers/directors and communicating with Group HQ.
- Provide ad hoc technical accounting guidance to operating companies and group finance staff.
- Lead specific technical reporting projects as needed.
Your Profile
- You will need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA).
- You will need to be between 2-5 years Post Qualified.
- Applicants coming directly from Audit or from industry with Financial Reporting experience are desired.
