A leading and instantly recognisable company are seeking a proactive Qualified Management Accountant to support the Finance team in driving improved resource productivity and financial management within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a vital link between the finance team and operational management, providing insights that facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Analyse and articulate operational and financial performance to foster a culture of continuous improvement among managers.
  • Prepare and present accurate monthly performance reports, contributing to the consolidated performance report for the organisation.
  • Drive enhancements in the monthly financial reporting process, ensuring clarity and efficiency in financial communications.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of Budgets, Medium Term Plans, and Forecasts, aligned with organisational goals.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and best practises, recommending actionable solutions to enhance financial performance.
  • Ensure robust financial governance and control measures are implemented for new initiatives or processes.
  • Assist with the preparation of Statutory Accounts and supporting documentation as needed.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function, working closely with the Finance Manager.
  • Lead and motivate team members while promoting collaboration across the Finance Directorate.

Salary: £60K to £70K + Bonus + Excellent Pension and Benefits

Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office and 2 remote

Experience and Skills Required:

  • To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • A professional accounting qualification (several years of post-qualification experience is desirable).
  • Proficiency in PowerBi is desirable
  • Experience in solving complex business problems and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong numeracy skills paired with a commercial mindset.
  • Proven planning, project management, and delegation abilities.
