As a Field Service Engineer, covering the South-East UK, you’ll play a crucial part in the installation and after-service care of the high-quality industrial machinery this renowned engineering company supplies.

Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer, you will:

  • Travel to customer sites to carry out planned maintenance and repair.
  • Carry out breakdown repairs.
  • Install new machinery and deliver training on it’s use.
  • Deliver friendly and professional customer service, acting as a brand ambassador.
  • Maintain the company vehicle and tools
  • Ensure accurate completion of documentation, ensuring any faults are reported.

Background

The successful Field Service Engineer will have:

  • A full, clean drivers licence.
  • Practical knowledge of electro-mechanical systems
  • Previous experience working on equipment which encompasses hydraulic / pneumatic and electrical components (such as heavy plant machinery)
  • Good fault-finding abilities
  • Ability to work to own initiative, as lone working will be required.
