Responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer, you will:
- Travel to customer sites to carry out planned maintenance and repair.
- Carry out breakdown repairs.
- Install new machinery and deliver training on it’s use.
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service, acting as a brand ambassador.
- Maintain the company vehicle and tools
- Ensure accurate completion of documentation, ensuring any faults are reported.
Background
The successful Field Service Engineer will have:
- A full, clean drivers licence.
- Practical knowledge of electro-mechanical systems
- Previous experience working on equipment which encompasses hydraulic / pneumatic and electrical components (such as heavy plant machinery)
- Good fault-finding abilities
- Ability to work to own initiative, as lone working will be required.
