Job Descriptions:
Driver Hire Gatwick is currently recruiting for a dedicated and professional Coach Driver for our esteemed client operating on the perimeters of Gatwick Airport. This position offers a balanced work-life schedule with a rotating shift pattern of 4 days working followed by 4 days off, including both day and night shifts.
Key Duties:
- Passenger Transport: Safely transport passengers around the perimeters of Gatwick Airport, ensuring a smooth and pleasant journey.
- Route Adherence: Follow designated routes and schedules, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain high standards of safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers with inquiries and ensuring a positive travel experience.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs to ensure the coach is in optimal condition.
Qualifications:
- Valid UK PCV License: Must hold a valid PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) license with a clean driving record.
- CPC Qualification: Must have a valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Experience: Previous experience in coach or bus driving is highly desirable.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, including day and night shifts.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
- Professionalism: High level of professionalism and reliability, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
