New opportunity for an experience Business Applications Analyst and Project Manager to join a successful award-winning Law Firm located in West Sussex.Â
Due to growth of the business, this opportunity will initially be on a twelve-month fixed term contract basis to work on a few specific projects, there may be an opportunity for this role to become permanent in the future for the right successful candidate.
My client is undertaking a significant transformation programme across the businesses IT services. Delivering this programme of work is crucial to the success of the business strategy ensuring their services, applications and processes work in a way that maximises the benefits to the users and the business.Â
Combining translation of business requirements to application design and through to solution development, creation of a project plan and delivery of solutions in time and on budget. Involvement in leading the delivery of a broad variety of technology projects including delivery of new applications, upgrades, hardware rollouts, cloud service delivery and service migrations.
The skill set can be wide a varied with a heavy emphasis on business analysis and looking for flexible skills and wide experience.Â
This is hybrid role of working two days in the office and three days working from home per week. There will be an opportunity to work from and visit the other offices all located in the Southeast.
Skills/experience/attributes required:
- Minimum of 4/5 years as a Business Applications Analyst/Project Manger
- Experience of working for a Law Firm is highly desirable
- Experience of working within a professional services environmentÂ
- Strong requirement gathering and analysis skills
- Experience of facilitating workshops
- Experience of working with Developers to design and document technical solutions
- Experience of defining user stories, non-functional/functional requirements & processes
- Experience of build and maintain the IT systems architecture repository
- Experience of working in an IT environment in a law firm
- Solid experience of working with and communicating with Senior Stakeholders
- Experience of analysis of upgrades ‘As is’ ‘To be’ within transformation and change projects
- Strong written and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
- SQL data query and SQL development knowledge.
