Driver Hire Gatwick is seeking a motivated and reliable 3.5T Van Driver to join our team, delivering pre-made meals, boxes of meats, and vegetables for our valued clients with the best customer service in the in Sussex and occasionally in London. Being a driver for us and helping our clients to grow and deliver the best customer service experience means you will have full control over the Van and also the responsibility of taken the job to
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliveries: Perform between 15 to 25 deliveries per day, ensuring all items are delivered safely and on time.- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring client satisfaction with every delivery.- Route Planning: Efficiently plan routes to maximize delivery efficiency, primarily in Sussex with occasional trips to London.- Manual Handling: Be prepared to lift and shift boxes of various sizes and weights as part of your daily tasks.- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular checks to ensure the van is in good working condition.
Requirements:
- Valid Driving License: Must hold a valid UK driving license for 3.5T vehicles.- Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physical work, including lifting and shifting boxes.- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to start work at 06:00 AM.- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.- Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills.- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Sussex and surrounding areas is advantageous.
