JOB DESCRIPTON:
The Delivery Driver & Warehouse Assistant is responsible for all tasks relating to an effective product distribution service; delivering goods to an existing customer base within specific timeframes, providing the customer with a high quality experience, and offering advice and support to customers to maintain strict service level agreements. Deliveries are subject to rigorous Health & Safety regulations which should always be adhered to.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Planning effective delivery routes, prioritising oldest orders first.
- Ensuring products are delivered within the parameters of service level agreements for each customer.
- Install dilution control and health and safety equipment at customer sites.
- Supporting the external sales team with additional bulk deliveries to customers premises.
Warehouse Operations
- Picking and loading stock onto vehicles and mobile showrooms.
- Minibulking chemicals into 25L drums
- Carrying out warehouse opening or closing duties.
- Ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage, handling, despatch and transportation of products.
- Providing support to the general warehouse function, to ensure it runs efficiently
- Carry out stock takes as required
This is a Hybrid role where 80% is driving and 20% is Warehouse. The compnay are well etsblished and stable and support organic Growth.
