Job Description:
Driver Hire Gatwick is looking for reliable and dedicated Van Drivers to join our team in East Grinstead and the surrounding areas. This role involves delivering a variety of items, including pre-made meals, pharmaceuticals, and occasionally building materials, depending of the client and the location. This position has the potential for permanent placement and the right candidate need to be able to start ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliveries: Safely and efficiently deliver the variety of items that our clients are heaving prepared for you to deliver.
- Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clients are satisfied with their deliveries.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and maintenance of the delivery van to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid Driving License: Must hold a valid UK driving license.
- Experience: Previous experience as a van driver is preferred.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physical work, including loading and unloading items.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with East Grinstead and surrounding areas is an advantage.
