Premier Work Support are recruiting for a Temporary Class 2 Driver for one of our Prestigious Clients based in Crawley.
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Class 2 Driver to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and timely delivery of goods across the local region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 2 delivery vehicle to transport goods to other branches.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery information, ensuring accurate order fulfilment.
- Maintain delivery logs and reports, ensuring accurate record-keeping of deliveries and any issues encountered.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Driving local routes across Sussex & the south coast with some London routes required.
Requirements:
- Valid UK DVLA Driving Licence.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Valid in date CPC License.
Working Hours:
- Start Time - 06:00AM - 14:00pm - please note this is dependant on deliveries being completed.
- Monday - Friday
