Driver Hire Gatwick are on the lookout for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client based in Crawley. If you are an experienced HGV driver with emphasis on palletised goods, please apply within!
About the role: you will be working for a very reputable logistics company, driving a Class 1 Lorry. All the goods are on pallets and will be unloaded Via Forklift. There is a high level of autonomy given to drivers at this company!
- Location: Crawley, West Sussex
- Shift: Monday to Saturday, a variety of shift times. Including potential nights
- Duties: Delivering palletized goods between locations, adhering to Driver’s hours and EU time directive. Ensuring high levels of health and safety. Pride and care for your work!
You will need:
- Experience: Proven track record of at least 1 year in Class 1 driving
An ideal candidate will have FORS training in addition.
- Licenses: Possess a valid UK driving license, along with up-to-date CPC and Tacho qualifications
- Location:Reside within a 15-miles radius of Crawley
- Transportation: Have your own transportation to commute to and from work
What We Offer:
- Pay: Competitive hourly rates, including an assignment rate of £18.00/hour. You will also have a choice of PAYE (£15.90) or Umbrella (£18.00).
