Driver Hire Gatwick is seeking dependable Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our team in Crawley for an ongoing role with immediate start. This position involves making about 5 to 10 drops on a daily base with palletized goods throughout the South East and surrounding areas, utilizing pump trucks and curtain sider vehicles. There is potential for this role to become permanent, and we are looking for candidates who can start as soon as possible.
Key Duties:
- Deliveries: Safely and efficiently transport various items prepared by our clients.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction with every delivery.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular checks and upkeep of the HGV to maintain optimal working condition.
- Documentation: Keep accurate delivery records and promptly report any issues.
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV License: Must have a valid Tacho and CPC.
- Location:Must reside within 10 miles of Crawley.
- Communication Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with East Grinstead, Crawley, And the RH Postcodes and surrounding areas is beneficial.
