The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for several dedicated Van Drivers to join the team on a temporary basis.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am starts (8–10-hour shifts).
Pay Rate: £12.80 per hour PAYE.
Location:Â Gatwick, RH10.
Job Type:Â Temporary (from 11/11/2024 until 23/12/2024).
The role:
· Start your day with loading up bulk deliveries (80-100 parcels).
· Deliver to primarily commercial customers, with the occasional residential stop.
· Complete collections on the return to the depot, unload, and then head out for 1-2 more runs.
· Use an app for electronic proof of delivery (POD) – training provided.
· Work with supportive, hands-on teammates in a well-organised environment.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driver's license.
- Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offenses only).
- A recent DBS check will be beneficial.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
