Drivers Mate/ Loader

Red Sky are actively seeking Drivers Mates to join our already successful and vibrant team at Gatwick airport. As a Drivers Mate you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our catering and goods arrive with our airline clients on time, in-line with various scheduling requirements. This role is central to our services, allowing us to distribute the catering and goods which we are very proud of.

The Role

As a Drivers Mate you will be working both airside and non-airside areas within our business:

• Collecting and loading of the bar and catering equipment on to 17-ton rigid vehicles
• Assisting the drivers, you will ensure the goods and catering packages are delivered on time
• Liaise with Cabin Crew from our array of airline clients to facilitate the transfer of catering equipment to and from your vehicle to the aircraft
• Occasional requirement to conduct small vehicle runs with uplifts or additional stock
• Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment where we aim to delight our customers

Please note your duties will include but are not limited to the above

Requirements

To undertake this role, you must:

• Full UK Driving License (with no more than 6 points)
• Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Have adequate numeracy and English skills
