T2M Resourcing are currently working alongside a leading pump and water boosting solutions provider to help grow their sales team and help them to recruit a new Business Development Manager.
As a Business Development Manager in the South-East, you will be responsible for growing and developing sales of the businesses domestic range of products, specifically targeting sales into wholesalers and merchants.
Key responsibilities as a Business Development Manager
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Respond and follow up on sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
- Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
- To provide Sales reports and Forecasts monthly or as required for the Board of Directors.
- Be aware of the main competitors and new services they may be offering.
Key Requirements to be successful in this role
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of Sales / Business development.
- Experience of selling water pump or boosting solutions essential.
- Proven success in selling a domestic product range to wholesalers and merchants.
- Excellent sales and communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service in order to win and retain customers.
This is a field-based Business Development Role, where you will be responsible for growing sales into the domestic market in the Southeast of England, this will require travel between client meetings, so a full UK driving license will be necessary.
A salary of £45,000 - 50,000 could be expected depending on experience, with the package also including a 25% bonus depending on both team / individual performance, with a car or allowance and fuel card too.
