A balustrade manufacturer catering to the domestic and commercial industries across the UK are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Team leader (Construction, Building Merchants) to join a dynamic and fast-paced team that will be responsible for developing the salesteam and driving sales. This position is well suited for a technical or mechanical qualified Team leader with experience managing sales teams selling products to the construction and related building sectors. industries.Sales Team leader (Construction, Building Merchants) - Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the sales team to become more efficient in qualifying andmanaging the sales leads.    
  • Recruiting and training of internal sales consultants and monitoring sales againstsales targets. 
  • Analyse the existing sales processes and procedures and provide guidanceto the internal sales team to increase sales. 
  • Identifying marketing trends, opportunities, and reporting these to the marketingdepartment to develop new strategies. 
  • Improve relationships with current partners and identify new partners and saleschannels.
Experience and Personal Qualities Required - Sales Team leader (Construction, Building Merchants):
  • Experience in technical sales management selling into the construction,building merchant, home building or similar industries. 
  • Experience in developing sales teams in dealing with sales leads effectively. 
  • Strong sales and customer service skills are required. 
  • Proven track record for increasing sales, identifying and creating new sales channelsand managing internal sales teams.
  • Confident phone manner and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manageworkloads efficiently.
  • Proficiency in sales and CRM software including all Microsoft programmes.Ability to work independently and within a team.
