Transport Consultant

Pertemps have a fantastic opportunity for an Onsite Transport Consultant to join our team based in Gatwick. The successful candidate will be focused on driving recruitment in large scales, sifting CVS, posting adverts, recruiting new drivers and developing relationships with existing driver pool. To provide client support with booking & managing flexible worker resource across those sites aligned to the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the highest levels of operational support to all the sites aligned to the region. This should include but not be limited to:
  • Operational fulfilment ensuring all booking are made in a timely manner in line with our SLA
  • Support the Contract Manager with forward planning
  • Maintain close working relationships with all drivers and staff across each location using the tools available
  • Maintaining best practice as outline by the business.
• Ensure all minimum standards associated with our booking & management process are maintained
• Ensure the correct onboarding process is always followed.
• Manage and maintain all systems
• Ensure support for the Contract Manager to deliver 100% compliance audit rating for the sites aligned to the region.
• Support effective roll out of any new internal initiatives/projects.
• Provide initial point of contact for any and all HR related matters and communicate with all concerned in a timely manner.
• Manage day to day worker issues around pay, holiday, sickness, attendance etc.
• Ensure all personal objectives are always met.
• Escalate in a timely manner any known operational issues that might involve the senior Customer and/or Pertemps management.
• To maintain the highest levels of communication both written and oral with the client, the flexible workers and within the Pertemps management team.
• Ensure that all relevant payroll deadlines are met at all locations, managing the flow of information between the client and our internal departments.
