As a Business Development Executive, you will be playing a pivotal role in cold calling and developing leads. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships and collaborating with internal teams to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service to nurture long-term relationships and foster repeat business
  • Conduct cold calls to prospective clients to generate new business opportunities
  • Use Salesforce (or similar CRM) to track client interactions, monitor sales progress and provide accurate forecasts
  • Conduct market research to find business opportunities and target potential clients aligned with the company's growth goals
  • Engage potential clients via phone and email, utilising various sales tools and personalised approaches to drive engagement and interest
  • Consistently achieve sales goals through proactive pipeline management, negotiation and deal closing
  • Monitor market trends to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies as needed
  • Work closely with marketing, operations and product teams to ensure seamless client experiences and alignment with company objectives

Requirements:

  • Previous working experience within a sales or similar role
  • Confident telephone manner due to cold calling
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Ability to persuade and negotiate effectively
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to generate leads and close sales
  • Due to location, own transport is needed
