Core responsibilities will typically include:

  • Raising pre-contract proposals to Interior Designers and converting them to full hardware schedules when the contractor requests
  • Owning and maintaining a pipeline of projects/deals, ensuing that data and details are accurate and realistic
  • Forensic and creative follow up of projects/deals (mainly telephone based), keeping in touch with the key stakeholder(s) at each stage of the pipeline until a PO is placed.
  • Working with internal teams (design, customer service and technical) to ensure that the hardware schedule is accurate and informative for the client throughout the whole sales process
  • External project meetings and site visits to finalize the hardware schedule and advise clients on technical issues and help them make decisions.
  • Holding face to face meeting with key decision makers on projects, to ensure all parties have a clear understanding of what is required.
  • Keeping up with daily correspondence and admin that the role generates, managing a volume of emails.
  • Preparing small quotes for extras and doing revisions to existing hardware schedules.
  • Building lasting relationships with customers within the construction industry, from Interior designers and Architects through to Contractors and Crafts people.

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant experience / knowledge of the high-end residential construction sector.
  • Experience gained in a luxury product-based business.
  • Proven success in a customer facing / sales role.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Commercially focussed.
  • A natural communicator who enjoys delivering outstanding customer experience.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Technical and practical mindset.
  • Competent on MS Office Suite, ability to learn new software (ERP / CRM).
