TITLETrainer*No prior Trainer experience needed.INTRODUCTIONOperating nationwide, our client is leading provider of children's support services, foster care, therapy, safeguarding and education services.  They have an enviable reputation as offering high standards of excellence in delivering vital services.  Due to team growth, they now require someone with experience in the education, teaching, child support, fostering or children’s care sector to join the team.  LOCATIONSouth East home, remote and field-based role, requiring weekly travel to offices.Kent Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, South London (ideal home locations: Bracknell, Camberley, Woking, Guildford, Epsom, Horsham, Dorking, Worthing, Crawley, Eastbourne, Lewes, East Grinstead, Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Sittingbourne, Chatham, Whitstable, or close.  THE JOB ROLEThe Trainer role takes responsibility for delivering the up-skilling and development of care professionals across our client’s organisation.
  • Delivering training content to both new and experienced team members.
  • Training best practice across team operational work.
  • Face-to-face training with teams across a number of sites and locations (100 miles to furthest office location).
  • Working with the national training team to improve training content and materials.
THE PERSON NEEDEDFor the Trainer role, our client is happy to provide structured induction and training for new hires, but does need:
  • A good working appreciation of children's care and social support environments.
  • Prior experience working within a similar environment e.g. children’s care services, education, teaching, social services, fostering, foster care or children’s therapy.
  • Flexibility to commit to weekly travel and occasional overnight stays away.
  • Confident and clear communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career as a Trainer.
