Our energy provider client is currently recruiting for a Credit Controller role in Crawley. The role is a 12 month FTC but there may be opportunity to move to a perm position. The role is paying £13 per hour and offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office per week - there is flexibility with this.In this role you will make a meaningful impact in a pivotal role at the heart of a prominent business dedicated to powering homes with electricity. We’re seeking a committed and driven Credit Controller to become a part of our client’s vibrant team.As a Credit Controller, you'll be instrumental in upholding our financial stability by maintaining a seamless revenue flow. Your key responsibilities will involve:• Proactively engaging with customers to ensure timely settlement of outstanding invoices.• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries.• Monitoring credit limits and evaluating the creditworthiness of both new and existing customers.• Accurately updating and managing customer records and payment data.• Generating and dispatching regular statements and reminders to customers.Requirements:• 1 year+ experience in Credit Control. (Essential)• Proficiency in Excel.• Strong and confident communication skills (written and verbal).• Excellent attention to detail and organizational prowess.• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.• Proactive problem-solving abilities.• Team Player
