Expanding Accountancy Firm based in Crawley seek a Credit Controller to join the National Finance Office which is a team of approximately 80 people, split over various locations. They are responsible for supporting the firm with all financial aspects of the day to day running, including supplier payments and expenses, payroll, commercial finance support and financial and statutory accounting to name a few.

They are looking for a Credit Controller to assist partners and portfolio holders in the prompt collection of the firm’s debts, processing accounting data efficiently, and helping ensure that internal and external clients receive a quality service in all respects.

Core duties will involve the following:

  • Building relationships with internal and external clients to facilitate settlement of outstanding bills in line with terms of business
  • Supporting with the clear goal to become the premium adviser to the middle market, globally
  • Ensuring that internal and external clients receive a quality service in all respects to help middle-market businesses thrive
  • Generating Batches
  • Collecting Debts

Ideal Candidates MUST HAVE the following:

  • Previous experience working within a Credit Control department
  • Comfortable working with people at all levels within the organisation
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Advanced Excel
  • Business to Business experience
