Reed Accountancy are seeking a Credit Controller to join our rapidly expanding client in their accounts team. This role is initially a 6-month interim role, however, could be extended or even made permanent. This role involves assisting in the prompt collection of the firm’s debts, processing accounting data efficiently, and ensuring that both internal and external clients receive a high-quality service.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Build relationships with internal and external clients
  • Facilitate the settlement of outstanding bills in accordance with terms of business.
  • Ensure that internal and external clients receive a quality service in all respects.
  • Comfortable working with people at all levels within the organisation.
  • Confident telephone manner, capable of engaging effectively with clients and team members.
Requirements & Skills
  • Calm and clear telephone manner, with the ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and customers.
  • Strong listening skills, with the capacity to empathise, understand customer situations, and clearly explain processes.
  • Excellent administrative skills coupled with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Assertive personality and the ability to work well under pressure.
