The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education and care to children in compliance with Company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with the Childcare Act 2006 and Health and Safety legislation, all within the requirements and guidelines as laid down by Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage guidance. The organisation is located close to local transport links. The nursery holds a Good Ofsted rating for their Baby and Nursery. They are open 07:30 - 18:00, Monday to Friday all weeks of the year except for one week at Christmas. All of their nurseries and pre-schools are bound together by the ethos to provide exceptional standards of care and education, and yet each nursery has freedom to develop its own individual and unique character.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality education and care to children.
  • Create a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 Child Care Qualification.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience within a day nursery setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage guidance.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
