Job Role:Wirer

Security Requirement:

Candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance and provide comprehensive documentation of identity, employment history, right to work, and UK residency for the past five years.

We are seeking a skilled Wirer to join theteam, responsible for constructing and wiring electronic equipment for both prototype and production purposes. The ideal candidate will work from technical drawings and engineering specifications, meeting production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate wiring looms and assemble electrical connectors
  • Install complex wiring in enclosures and mechanical structures
  • Perform precise soldering of terminations
  • Independently verify electrical connections and adherence to engineering specifications
  • Document and communicate any modifications during the build process
  • Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness
  • Collaborate with production control to manage material requirements
  • Assist with tool calibration as needed
  • Potentially travel to customer sites

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in electrical wiring
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic mechanical assembly skills
  • Experience in startup or pilot production environments
  • Familiarity with military equipment wiring standards
  • Knowledge of fibre optic assembly termination
