Client Manager

Reed is delighted to announce that we are working with a reputable accounting firm who are seeking a Client Manager. In this role you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients and handling various accounting tasks. This role offers hybrid flexibility, accommodating school hours, making it ideal for those seeking a balanced work-life schedule.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage a personal portfolio of clients, ensuring all their accounting needs are met efficiently.
- Prepare and review VAT returns and Corporation tax returns.
- Handle accounts preparation and management accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards to advise clients accurately.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in managing client portfolios within an accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of VAT, Corporation Tax, and general accounting practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
