Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver for our prestigious client based in Crawley. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our clients dynamic team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in stock control and rotation, ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to transport goods within the warehouse.
• Assist with stock control, ensuring accurate inventory management and stock rotation.
• Work closely with team members to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of internal systems for goods in and goods out.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform regular checks and maintenance on the forklift to ensure it is in good working order.
• Support the team with additional tasks as required to maintain smooth warehouse operations.

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm
• Hours may change in line with the demands of the client's business.

Pay Rate:

• £12.50 - £14.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
• Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse setting.
• Strong understanding of stock control and inventory management practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
