We are currently seeking a skilled Counterbalance Driver to join a warehouse team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating counterbalance forklifts to manage goods within the warehouse, ensuring efficient handling and storage of products.
Day-to-day of the role:- Operate counterbalance forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Ensure the safe and efficient handling of all goods and materials.
- Load and unload materials from a variety of vehicles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform daily equipment checks
- Assist in physical inventories and maintain stock in an organised manner.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that production lines are supplied with empty and full pallets as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the warehouse area.
- Valid counterbalance forklift driving licence.
- Proven experience in a similar warehouse role.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in executing tasks.
- Capable of handling heavy products and working in a fast-paced environment.
