Role: 1st Line SupportLocation: CrawleyHours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pmPay: £24,000 per annum
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a 1st Line Support to join one of our longstanding clients, an excellent business in Crawley.
The Requirements:
- Minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in handling client support calls.
- Ability to analyse complex information and manage tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher.
- Ability to commute daily to Crawley, West Sussex.
Desirable:
- Further education in engineering or IT.
- Experience in a similar IT support role.
- Knowledge of Managed Print Services (MPS) software and document workflows.
- Familiarity with supplier portals and CRM systems.
- Microsoft associate certifications.
- A valid manual driving license.
The Role:
- Learn and apply service desk processes and best practices to ensure a high-quality client experience.
- Develop expertise in IT and print hardware/software, assisting with installations, troubleshooting, and vendor escalations to resolve issues efficiently.
- Coordinate the supply and timely delivery of managed print consumables.
- Participate in technical training sessions, following a structured learning plan, and keeping product knowledge up to date.
- Provide on-site client support when required.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management, adhering to company policies, including employee guidelines, operational procedures, and health & safety standards.
- Support ad hoc projects as needed to contribute to business objectives.
- Responsibilities may evolve over time, and additional duties may be assigned within the role's scope and level.
