About the RoleAs a Pet Travel Specialist, you will play an important role in helping families relocate their beloved pets to destinations across the globe. From offering expert advice and providing quotations to managing the entire travel journey, you'll ensure that every detail is carefully taken care of so that pets and their owners have a smooth, stress-free experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Offering clients tailored advice and providing them with quotes for relocating their pets.
  • Communicating with customers daily, answering their questions and providing reassurance over the phone and via email.
  • Keeping up to date with airline policies, industry standards, and destination-specific rules to ensure pets are safely relocated.
  • Booking flights, preparing necessary paperwork, and ensuring all details are accurate.
  • Working closely with third-party partners, including veterinary practices and boarding kennels, to ensure pets' travel arrangements are in order.
  • Organising your own desk and managing your workload to ensure each customer's journey is carefully planned and executed.
  • Maintaining a high level of care and empathy, as pet travel can be an emotional experience for clients.
  • Building trust with clients by providing a reassuring, professional, and compassionate service.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook (Excel knowledge is a bonus but not essential).
  • Previous experience in the pet travel/ freight/ export/ or customs industries would be highly beneficial.
  • Strong written and spoken English, with a keen eye for detail.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • A love for animals (ideally with personal experience of owning pets) and an understanding of the concerns that pet owners may have.
  • A customer-focused approach, with a genuine desire to help others and provide the best possible service.
