TITLEQualifications Assessor  INTRODUCTIONOperating nationwide, our client is leading provider of children's support services, foster care and education services.  They have an enviable reputation as offering high standards of excellence in delivering services of critical value.  Due to team growth, they now require someone with experience in the education, fostering or children’s care sector to join the team.  *No prior QA experience is necessary for this role – full support is provided.  LOCATIONHome, remote and field-based role.Requires weekly travel to regional offices across the South of the UK 2 days per week - central location with motorway access ideal.  THE JOB ROLEThe Qualifications Assessor role takes responsibility for ensuring the effective completion of adult learning qualifications and accreditations e.g. CACHE Level 3 and Level 5 across the team.
  • Tracking qualification and training processes and completion across team members.
  • Mentoring and supporting team members during the qualification process.
  • Completing documentation, recording data and success rates across the team.
  • Face-to-face support and coaching work with teams across a number of sites and locations.
  • Working in conjunction with an external qualifications verifier and governing body.
  • 2 days field based at company locations, 3 days home-based.
THE PERSON NEEDEDFor the Qualifications Assessor role, our client is happy to provide structured induction and training for new hires, but does need:
  • A good working appreciation of care and social support environments.
  • Prior experience working within a similar environment e.g. children’s care services, education, teaching, social services, fostering, foster care or children’s therapy.
  • Flexibility to commit to weekly travel and occasional overnight stays away.
  • Good written skills and an organised and structured approach to work.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career as a QA.
