Your Role as a Teaching Assistant:
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to enhance student learning.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students.
- Assist in lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and tidying up.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to reach their potential.
- Monitor student progress and assist with behaviour management.
- Participate in extracurricular activities such as clubs and school trips.
What We're Looking For:
- A passion for education and supporting young learners.
- A caring, compassionate, and proactive attitude.
- Some experience working with children (preferred but not essential).
- GCSEs (A*-C) in Maths and English or equivalent.
- Level 2 or 3 support staff qualification (desirable but not required).
- A DBS check (we can support you in obtaining this).
- Right to work in the UK.
