Lloyd Recruitment Services is excited to partner with a well-established business in Crawley, currently seeking an HR Advisor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Purpose of the Role:

To support the HR department in recruitment, policies, procedures, performance management, and employee wellbeing across various offices. This will help ensure the company has skilled and motivated employees to meet its long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities for the HR Advisor:

  • Manage the full recruitment process with the HR Manager, including resource planning, job adverts, interviews, and liaising with agencies
  • Assist with new employee onboarding, such as preparing offer packs, issuing contracts, and verifying work eligibility
  • Oversee the leaver process, including conducting exit interviews
  • Help with SMS communications to fill temporary staff positions as needed
  • Work with Regional Managers on staffing strategies and recommend solutions for employee shortages
  • Ensure accurate personnel records and assist with administrative tasks
  • Review and update HR policies with the HR Manager, ensuring they are available to all staff
  • Support Regional Managers with employee performance, welfare, and development, visiting offices as required
  • Liaise with Occupational Health providers and maintain relevant records
  • Continuously assess and improve HR administrative processes with the HR Manager
  • Deputise for the HR Manager when needed
  • Assist with induction and training events to ensure staff are receiving appropriate development

Essential Skills & Experience for the HR Advisor:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, including disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Word, and Excel
  • Full UK driving licence (travel required)
