2nd Line IT Support EngineerLocation: Remote, with travel to Crawley & LondonSalary: £30,000 - £50,000 Job Type: Full-time, PermanentAbout the RoleLloyd Recruitment is seeking an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Engineer with MSP and Microsoft Azure expertise. This client-facing role requires strong technical and communication skills to provide high-quality IT support and solutions.Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd line support for escalated IT issues across client environments
  • Troubleshoot desktop, server, and network problems efficiently
  • Manage Azure environments, including VMs, Azure AD, and cloud solutions
  • Support Microsoft 365, Intune, SharePoint, and Teams deployments
  • Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
  • Resolve networking issues (VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP)
  • Collaborate with 1st & 3rd line teams for issue resolution
  • Assist with IT projects, migrations, and deployments

Key Skills & Experience

  • MSP experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure AD, Backup & Security)
  • Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Endpoint Management (Intune)
  • Good understanding of firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and networking
  • Hands-on experience with Hyper-V or VMware
  • Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask, N-able)
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license required for client site visits
  • Certifications like Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, AZ-104, CompTIA Network+ are a plus
