Our client, a leading water sector specialist, is seeking a Mechanical Fitter for a water treatment site near Crawley.
The position is available to start ASAP and is expected to last for at least 2 months, offering a pay rate of £25-26 per hour.
Key responsibilities include the onsite installation and removal of water treatment machinery, such as stainless steel pipework, pumps, and valves.
Candidates must possess a CSCS Card, Thames Water Passport, and Confined Space certification, along with their own tools and PPE.
Experience in the field is essential, and the role requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Onsite installation and removal of relevant water treatment machinery/equipment, including but not limited to: large bore stainless steel pipework, brackets/supports, pumps, motors, valves, steelwork, handrails.
Ability to work independently while also being an effective communicator in team settings.
Strong organizational skills with excellent multitasking abilities.
Adhering to onsite health and safety regulations.
Collaborating with other trades and end client on site.
