The hiring manager is hands on, down to earth and has been in the company for many years. The Maintenance Engineering department is focused and work mostly reactively to breakdown and problems, and therefore need someone who is conformable in being quick on their feet, enjoys the chase, fault finding and repairs, and above all, loves to get their hands dirty. If you鈥檙e a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer and have ANY/SOME experience of motors, belts, bearings, shafts, chains, pumps, hydraulics, pumps, gear boxes, pneumatics etc. please apply. Responsibilities路 Mechanical Maintenance of all plant and machinery through fault finding, planned maintenance, breakdowns and project work.路 Mechanical maintenance work across all equipment and machinery. 路 Working within a team of 4 maintenance Engineers. 路 Most of the work will involve breakdowns and working reactively to production line problems. 路 Work within a team who cover both mechanical and electrical work. 路 Ensure the stores is stock and replaced of anything removed. 路 Help identify and offer solutions to ongoing maintenance issues. 路 To be actively involved in the development of the PPM program.路 Complete maintenance paper work. Requirements路 Experience of mechanical maintenance, ideally within a similar manufacturing or production environment.路 ANY of the following mechanical skills/experience is desirable; Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Belts, Bearings, Chains, Motors, Gearboxes, Pumps, Welding, etc. 路 Any form of multi skilled experience would be desirable but not essential路 Apprentice trained and/or hold a qualification in a relevant field such as Mechanical Maintenance Engineering would be desirable路 Friendly and adaptable working attitude, with good problem solving and prioritisation skills路 Willing to learn and turn your hands to all engineering areas If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Wesley at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
