Import Coordinator (office based Mon-Fri) LGW

Experience...

Knowledge and an understanding of: CDS, CHIEF &/or Sequoia Terms and endorsements of HAWB’s. Home Use / T1’s / NCTS, understand incoterms and associated freight rate calculations, profiles and rates.

Duties...

• Complete the custom procedures with total accuracy ensuring that deadlines are met both internally and those defined by customs.

• Generate accurate invoice to client for all shipment related charges.

• Obtain and communicate internally and externally all necessary information to ensure correct measures are in place and customer needs are met.

• Ensure documentation is Up-To-Date, loaded correctly and make your Team Leader or Manager aware of any issues that may arise.

• Proactively action duties on a daily basis, supporting the team during times of absence or holidays.

• Liaise with the UK importer/Shipper all the way through to the delivery.

• Sharing knowledge within the team and continually improving processes.

• Liaise with overseas partners to arrange collections and deliveries.

• Organise and plan flight schedules.

• Ensure responsibility for all client key performance indicators and requirements are met.

• Accurately complete all types of customs paperwork Import & Export, shipping documents within the agreed deadlines.

• Responsible for financials for each job including costings and invoices and manage daily, liaising with internal departments.

• To ensure all distribution and warehouse related matters are carried out in accordance with the import and export procedures.
