We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Administrator with a background in stock control to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of managing purchasing and procurement processes and maintaining effective stock control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Purchasing and Procurement Processes: Oversee the purchasing and procurement cycle, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods.
  • Supplier Management: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of items and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Day-to-Day Requests: Handle daily requests and queries, ensuring quick response time to user requests.
  • Coordinating Supplies: Ensuring the best price and effective delivery timescales are achieved.
  • Effective Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock levels, conduct regular stock checks, and manage inventory records, including monthly stock take of high-cost items.
  • Delivery Management: Ensure items are delivered as per the agreed purchase orders and maintain records of deliveries.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Experience of working to tight timescales.
  • Previous healthcare experience or clinical background is advantageous.
  • Previous purchasing experience is desirable.
