You will be leading a small warehouse team, managing inventory and stock control, maximising efficiency using systems such as an ERP, Barcoding and Warehouse Management Systems and driving continuous improvement.
This exciting opportunity would suit a natural problem solver, who enjoys a hands-on approach, with relevant experience gained in a manufacturing, engineering or production setting dealing with a high volume of SKUs, who is motivated to always find a way to get goods to the customers fulfilling the target of on time in full every time.
As Stores & Inventory Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving goods including quality control.
- Inventory control & levels.
- Responsibility for high volume of SKUs.
- Location selection and storing.
- Picking for order fulfilment.
- Resolve queries regarding inventory shortages.
- Support Procurement and Purchasing with materials & consumable demand forecasting (MRP) and replenishment disciplines including kanban for critical high-volume items.
- Ensuring optimum accuracy of data in the ERP.
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales & Project teams to align stores activities.
- Relevant inventory control, stock & stores management experience.
- Exposure to an engineering, manufacturing or production environment.
- Understanding of demand planning.
- Comfortable working with systems such as an ERP, MRP, WarehouseManagement & Barcoding system.
- Proficientwith MSOfficeSuite.
- A natural leader who possesses excellentproblem-solving skills.
