Are you a detail-oriented and organised individual looking for a new opportunity as a Stores Coordinator? Our client, an established organisation in the logistics industry, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team. As a Stores Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within the organisation.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Accepting incoming goods and comparing them with the shipping document to verify material numbers, descriptions, and quantities.
  • Checking incoming goods for visible damage and documenting any findings.
  • Safely and correctly using transport equipment, such as hand-guided industrial trucks and forklifts.
  • Capturing relevant data in data processing systems to maintain accurate records.
  • Organising the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods in the storage area and updating the appropriate systems.
  • Conducting regular stock maintenance and inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Assembling deliveries from designated storage compartments and reviewing them for completeness and accuracy.
  • Packaging deliveries according to shipping instructions, common dispatch methods, and other guidelines within the given framework.
  • Adding necessary shipping documents to outgoing goods.
  • Completing internal and, if applicable, external transports using appropriate means of transportation.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a similar role within the logistics industry is highly desirable.
